It was a little difficult, but I hope they're to your tastes.

[ He always wants to please her. He can be very anal and critical at times, but he's also the same when it comes to making her happy.

He seems a little shy when she asks what it is, because he did want to give something so significant after some more time. It can be helped, but... it also feels like the timing is right. ]

I made a ring. It's supposed to be for you.

[ The box of chocolates is set aside for now so he can pull the box out of his pocket. She can be the one to open it, if she's excited, but he can easily keep it in case the meaning of a ring overwhelms her. He'd like for her to be ready too, even if they aren't getting engaged or married because of it. ]

[ She has no idea what the plan is here.

But she's easily distracted from it by his change in demeanor. It's rare to see Akashi get shy around her. Quiet, contemplative, sure. Embarrassed, adorable, also sure. Shy wasn't common though, and he has her full attention because of it.

Then he says ring and Emerald immediately understands. The only rings she's ever seen up close were ones she's stolen. One from a loved one... But he's not opening the box to present it to her, he's not getting on one knee, so it means it's not- that's a lot easier to deal with. Marriage is way too complicated to get into because of the way that things are, even if she's all-in enough to agree to just about anything. (But she's all in with two people, so that's what makes it complicated.)

She stares at the box quietly for a couple of seconds, not in a negative way. She's just astounded. First Mayuzumi got her a necklace, and now Akashi got her a ring.. She flips it open, smiling brightly at it before popping it out to put it on, then realizing she doesn't know what finger it's intended for. ]

Which finger is it sized for?

[ That'll tell her what his intention is for it too. She's putting it on either way, and she looks like she's got a huge case of the warm and fuzzies and exciteds right now. But she wants to hold it in until it's actually on. ]

Ideally, it's for your ring finger.

[ Akashi didn't think about whether it's for her left or her right. He just wanted to give her a present. Something that would mean a lot of things—a bond that's forged forever, a promise, a commitment, love. ]

[ He'll take her right hand if she's fine with it so he can be the one to slip the ring on. He should have gotten her size, but he couldn't really do something like that since this was a surprise. ]

The colour is because of my amulet from Empatheias. That way, when you have it on, I'm always with you.

[ So she shouldn't take it off! ]

[ There are some concerns she has about this. Of course she does. The right hand is where a wedding band goes, and she's not allowed to mention Mayuzumi today. She promised, and it's so romantic and she really does want it on despite those concerns. She straightens her back as she holds her hand out, looking like she's trying not to outright giddy-grin. She's got the necklace that Mayuzumi gave her own too, though, even if it wasn't given with the intention of taking her ring finger. She's got both of her boys with her right now and she really does love that Akashi wants to give her something like this- wants to make sure it's known.

Miraculously, it fits almost perfectly. Of course it does, Akashi has a good eye. She's not going to take it off unless she needs to shower or like.. do dishes or something. Akashi's going to wake up sometime and the little stones are going to be imprinted in her face because she was sleeping on her hand.

Both of them have figured out something to give her to remind her that they're always with her. Her biggest fear with the two of them caring for each other was them leaving her behind eventually, so it's little wonder that Akashi is going to get jumped on for a hug once she's got her hand free. ]

[ She's happy. That's good. He's happy when she is.

His hands are around her waist when she jumps on him. He holds her close and kisses her again, slow and careful because of the fangs, but it's still with a lot of love and affection. ]

I'm glad.

[ Going back to her other question, though... ]

You can bring your things to my apartment first so we're not carrying a lot when we go to the amusement park.

[ She smiles into the kiss, but pulls back after a second. Largely because she needs to narrow her eyes at him discerningly. ]

Do I need to pack pajamas?

[ Look, he didn't say to pack an overnight bag, but it won't take her much effort to if she can just shove a change of clothes for the next day in it. She's already probably left things like her toothbrush and a hairbrush in his apartment in a drawer somewhere..

..That said, she's definitely asking if she can just sleep naked in his bed. ]

You shouldn't wear the same clothes tomorrow.

[ ????? They're already dirty, Em. Come on. ]

And you'll need comfortable clothes to wear to sleep.

[ Completely missing the implication here. She can borrow his clothes though, no problem. Just not his tie-dye shirt, though. That's a special shirt. ]

I'm planning on bringing a change of clothes for tomorrow, I'm asking if I have to wear clothes to sleep, at all, you dweeb.

[ Though she doesn't really care about wearing the same clothes more than one day... Living on the street didn't really make that a choice so it doesn't gross her out now. As long as it doesn't smell it's fine, but given the choice she'll change.

But she really just wants to not have to wear pajamas!! Let her sleep nude, boyfriend!! ]

[ He's not gonna let you sleep nude!!!!! Not his thing, sorry, Em.

[ she finally pulls away from him to go shove some stuff in a bag for that night. Hey pajamas are a tank top and panties so hopefully he'll count that as enough.

She has her bag, then comes out with an aerosol sunscreen, her jacket slid off her shoulders. ]

Can you get my back? Then we can go.

Why would I need to put sunscreen on your back? You'll be wearing a jacket the entire day.

[ T h e e n t i r e d a y. Even if it's sunny and really hot out, Akashi will make her keep the jacket on. >:(

Still, he complies, though, and begins to spray her back with sunscreen. ]

What if we go on a water ride?! I heard they have those!

[ She's been trying to stay chill and relaxed but. She's never been to a theme park she's really excited. It's coming out in her tone even as she stays still for him to put the sunscreen on. She turns around with her eyes closed so he gets her face, then shrugs her jacket back on. She didn't know where they were going until he said it earlier, so she couldn't prepare ahead.. ]

Did you bring extra clothes in case you get wet?

[ ... Because he didn't. ._. At least they're going back to his place so he can get an extra set of clothes now. ]

No, that's why I'm going to take my jacket off for the water rides. I don't think anyone gets that wet on them or it'd be a problem.

[ It'll be fine, Akashi!! She's heading for the door so he can come or not. At least once she gets there she holds it open for him. She doesn't want to pack for ten hours, let's gogogo. ]

[ No 😖 He says it pretty defensively. Don't strip in public!! ]

And you really will get sick if you wear wet clothes. Where do you keep your shirts? I'll get one so you can bring one to the park.

[ they could easily buy a shirt there, tbh... but he doesn't even consider that right now. He's gonna go inside Emerald's room and grab a shirt from her closet while she waits outside. ]

[ Just a very.. small one. Most of what she owns is stuff like that, so he'll have trouble finding something that will completely cover her, but there's probably some tank top or baby tee in there he can find. She doesn't follow him though and just waits by the door... ]

Don't forget the chastity belt.

[ she's going outside once he's back out of the room though so he better keep up!! ]

[ Emerald is going to wait a while... He's. He's not going to police what Emerald wears, but he does want her to show less skin because it feels more proper like that. You don't go to dinner with diplomats and businessmen in a swimsuit. Needless to say, he has difficulty figuring out what "shirt" to get from Emerald's closet.

He ends up with one that has sleeves... it looks fine to him??? But when Emerald puts it on, he's going to realise that it's a crop top and ah...

At least it covers most of her.

He hands it to her once they're both out. ]

[ It's kind of warm but honestly unless he guards the bathroom door is not like he can really make her change.

Though she probably should considering her top is white. Oh well. She won't argue, and puts the shirt into her bag. ]

I guess that means we have to go on all the water rides back to back?

[ She doesn't know how many there even are, but it sounds fun ok.. ]

[ So... if they do end up getting on the water rides, they'll do that. ]

We could go now since your bag is small anyway, but it also slipped my mind to bring a change of clothes for myself.

It's fine. This way I don't have to carry anything around except for the extra stuff you want me to take.

[ Look she got sunscreen anything else is extra af she doesn't think she needs it. She's heading towards his apartment though. ]

[ He takes her hand so they can walk back together to his place. Hopefully Emerald won't encounter Akashi's landlady then... ]

Did you get to sleep well?

I slept fine. I exercised a lot to wear myself out since it's really.. Sanguis is weird. I ate a rare steak for dinner last night and that was only because logically I knew I should cook it first. Oh- and I got some camphor to put under my nose so I can't smell anything so I don't want to do anything inappropriate. It was just easier to tire myself out.

[ And she doesn't dream as much when she's exhausted either, so it's a bonus. She doesn't want to share that her primary wants since this started have been fighting and banging, especially when smells set her off.

She bumps her arm against his as they walk, though stays against him if he doesn't pull away, holding his hand. ]

If you're starting to feel angry or frustrated, then tell me. We'll cut the day short.

[ But Akashi won't leave her. He doesn't want Emerald to get in trouble in case she starts a fight or causes a scene, though.

He squeezes her hand jus a little tighter. He doesn't pull away from her, either. ]

It's not really like anger. It's more like.. yesterday when I smelled Ryouta at your apartment, I wanted to tie you up and keep you to myself and kill anyone who came near you. Which I know isn't normal easily enough to know I needed to back off... It's not as bad when I can't smell anything though.

[ She hopes that doesn't scare him. He already knows she's clingy and violent normally, Sanguis just makes it way worse.. but as long as no one gets in her territory (within arm's length of Akashi) it.. should be ok. She squeezes his hand back and tilts her head to rest it on his shoulder. ]

[ ... That's alarming. Akashi looks at her, concerned, before looking back at where they're going. ]

Please don't harm anyone, Emerald.

[ He says it as a request, not a reminder. Emerald knows it's bad, but... she'll need to control herself. He's not really sure what else to say beyond that, and ignoring it wouldn't be good, either. ]

It's just us today. You don't have to worry about anyone coming between us.
