Okay, weirdo, but which ride would you enjoy being next to me on most?
[ He's so gross. Why does she love this... It's way less gross when it's him doing it than when people she doesn't love do it!! She doesn't know where the games area of the park is though so hopefully they'll just run into it. ]
[ Wasnt he talking about that on the way there? The line is heavily decorated and after the first few feet, it goes underground and all of the jungle items are glow-in-the-dark. It's kinda cool, and the only light they can see are the small lights in the floor so people can see their feet and the glow in the dark trees and mushrooms and a coiled up snake with a too-large, too-human smile. It's all very well designed to try to excite people... and has quite a walk to the actual ride, since they can get quite busy. It's not too bad right now, though. ]
It wouldn't be a proper roller coaster without one.
[ And it's good they don't have to wait that long! The roller coaster can fit a lot of people at the same time, so even though there's a relatively long line, it looks like they'd still be able to get in right away. ]
I think the speed and the height are probably important too, right? Like there's one that looks like it's just straight up and down I saw in the distance, but it's not on our way to the log flume. I want to try that one too.
[ So they can go on it afterward!! She's talking about a ride like this. ]
[ Akashi will lead the way to the back once they're let in, then. They don't get the furthermost seat, but they're still relatively close to the back. ]
Let's try the other one later.
[ Seatbelts, on! The weird lock mechanism thing, on! Safety is very important. ]
[ Emerald wanted to be the furthest back but she doesn't complain or look particularly disappointed. She's excited either way. This is her first roller coaster. She's practically buzzing, even if they're not in the back car. ]
Are you ready?
[ The attendants are going around and yanking at the safety mechanisms to make sure that they're okay, then yelling to signal that they're all safe and good to go. People clear out of the car's area, then the operator launches the ride. ]
[ Surely this ride can't be so bad!! And now they're off. Definitely not bad at all, until it speeds up going down after a slope. And then there's the loop. Akashi manages to keep his cool, but he does hold onto the bar in front of him a little tighter. He's not screaming, but everyone else is. ]
[ Emerald's not scared, but she ends up screaming because it's fun rather than because it's anything terrifying. It's exciting to be going fast and not risking your life, it's pretty fun. She likes it. She could definitely get into this as an adrenaline rush. Once the loops and twists are done and they're pulling back into the station, she turns to Akashi like an excited puppy who just got a new toy. ]
[ By the time the ride slows down, Akashi finds that his legs are shaking, as are his hands. He tries not to look at them so he doesn't bring attention to them, but he does look vaguely uncomfortable before he steels himself. Emerald enjoyed it, so of course he'll say yes. ]
There's no line. Maybe we can just stay here for the next round.
[ When the attendant comes by to let them out, she holds her hand up enthusiastically. ]
We're staying for another round.
[ The guy looks at the line same as Akashi did, though he does glance at Akashi as if to make sure that he's also down since he looks.. less enthusiastic. But if he doesn't object, the guy shrugs and just moves on to let out the other passengers, then let the small handful of people coming in take other seats. ]
[ Akashi doesn't say anything and even looks forward rather than at the guy. When the next round starts, he closes his eyes and keeps them shut until they're back at the station. He's hoping Emerald doesn't want to go again... But he'll also tell her, because he doesn't want to upset her by keeping it in. ]
Can we get down now? I want to sit down somewhere quiet.
[ With the initial excitement faded a little, she's paying a little more attention to Akashi. He's clearly drained from just the one ride... She nods and lets the guy free them this time, walking slowly to give Akashi some chance to recover. There's a cafe a short walk from them, she starts leading him that way so she can get him some water. ]
[ Oh dear. She moves close so she can wrap her arms around his arm. It's a subtle way of helping to support him without making it look like he needs support, hopefully, since she knows he wouldn't like that. HE might look weak or whatever if it looks like she's helping, but she doesn't mind looking like she's clingy. ]
I think that was probably the one with the most loops anyway.
[ She guides him to the tables outside the cafe and quickly goes to ask for two water bottles. They are overpriced for sure, but they can refill the bottles up at fountains later she guesses. Oh well. ]
no subject
[ He's gonna end up liking the bumper cars bc he wants everyone to have a hard time bc of him... ]
Why do you ask?
no subject
[ She pauses, then perks up. ]
I want to play a game and win you a prize, though. That's the only thing I want to do besides the log ride and a roller coaster.
[ She has simple needs. ]
no subject
[ His smile is so genuine though... please don't hit him, Emerald. ]
I wouldn't mind if we just went back than spent the day here.
But... I think I'd like that. Win me a prize.
[ Of course, it goes without saying: no cheating. ]
no subject

I just said I would.
no subject
[ He's gonna end up being the world's most boring passenger, though. ]
no subject
[ She tugs him to the left from behind, some kind of retro neon jungle-themed ride entrance near where she's indicating. ]
no subject
It's pretty tall.
[ This isn't the only roller coaster they have though. There's an even bigger one towards the other end of the park, but Akashi's unaware. ]
no subject

Do you want to sit in the front or at the back?
no subject
[ There are so many coasters that don't even have loops, Akashi!! Though Emerald doesn't really know, so she's just trusting him. ]
Which goes faster?
no subject
[ He seems to think so, anyway! ]
You'll feel more weightless if you sit in the back.
no subject
[ So they can go on it afterward!! She's talking about a ride like this. ]
The back then.

Let's try the other one later.

Are you okay?
no subject
[ He's walking slowly because his world is still spinning. Just a little. He'll recover soon. ]
no subject
Maybe no more loops for you.
no subject
[ Right now, he just needs a break. He'll need some time to psyche himself up for later. ]
no subject
[ She guides him to the tables outside the cafe and quickly goes to ask for two water bottles. They are overpriced for sure, but they can refill the bottles up at fountains later she guesses. Oh well. ]
