[ She offers, a question in her voice as if she's trying to come up with an excuse. ]

It's our first date and you're paying more attention to my phone than me, so I'm going to do whatever I want.

Oh, I hadn't realised.

[ He doesn't mean to ignore her!! He lowers her hands and gives her back her device. ]

But you're also exposing me to the driver.

[ His eyes flicker to the man in front, who happens to meet eye contact with Akashi from the rearview mirror. Awkward. ]

I'm not opening your shirt or touching. He's not seeing anything weird.

[ She takes her phone back and sits up straight, stopping touching him so he doesn't feel weird. She just wants to mess with him so bad right now... ]

You can read it tonight after we wind down if you want. I'll pull up the terms of service for you, too.

[ She sure didn't read them but Akashi seems like... the type who would.. ]

[ Weird or not, the driver just looked at him funny and he's not comfortable with it!!! Though of course he doesn't say it out loud because he doesn't want the driver to get beaten up. ]

[ But with Em behaved now, he buttons up his shirt again. She can reset once they're in his apartment. ]

We should get back quicker compared to how long it took for us to get to the park. We're in a car now, after all.

[ She's gonna pin him to the outside of the door, then open it while his back is to the door so he has to stumble back a little.

... Maybe that's a little fantasy-y in her head. ]

[ Em??? He doesn't know what to expect now... But he pulls her closer and gives her a squeeze to say that whatever she has planned is more than welcome. ]

[ She thought he would be proud of her!! Not that she had a real plan anyway, just like. she wants to jump him. ]

[ The guy is turning onto their street, so she's mostly just teasing him since he's doing his 'see the future' bit and acting like she doesn't know what he means. ]

[ Because he's never actually seen her naked in this context before. He looks out the window after saying that, eyes trained on Emerald's from the reflection. ]

In a broader sense, when I get my diploma, you'll be there to congratulate me and kiss me before we go on vacation to celebrate.

[ Little goals in life!! He wants to celebrate every triumph with her. ]

[ She smacks him in the arm, much more gently than normal, and laughs. ]

Who's making the driver uncomfortable now!

[ Stop talking about memorizing her in front of him! The car comes to a stop and she opens the door to get out, then runs over to open it for Akashi, like a proper gentlelady. ]

It sounds nice though.

[ Em!! 😫😫😫 He wants to be your prince...

He transfers the necessary Demichroma to the driver and gets out, though. Then he takes Emerald's bag and then lifts her princess style. This is payback. 😌 ]

[ This was not an expected development and it causes her to wrap her arms around his shoulders to hold on reflexively for a moment. Her cheeks are definitely going a little pink.

But also she can't do her plan this way?? She looks briefly concerned for a moment, just because she.. tends to fret when things don't go to plan (they're just usually not her plan, so that's new). She wiggles a little in his arms, then decides to try something new. ]

Okay, you can carry me but that just means I've got more time to get started early.

[ She shifts slightly to pull his shirt sleeve off to the side so she can put her mouth on his shoulder and suck on it. No teeth involved, she's careful about that, but she's 100% gonna give him a shoulder hickey!!! ]

[ He actually panics a little, stopping in his tracks and freezing up. Emerald's definitely caught him way off guard, and the discomfort he feels is at a maximum for a split second. But he doesn't feel any teeth, and he reminds himself that it's Emerald. It's okay... it's okay. ]

It's okay... [ He breathes out the words, whispering to himself. He's fine, and Emerald wouldn't do anything to hurt him. ]

I'm sorry—

[ That one's for Emerald, and he continues walking now to get on the elevator. ]

Still too close?

[ She went for his shoulder so that he wouldn't feel uncomfortable about his neck, but she stops almost immediately when he stops moving and rests her head on his shoulder instead, heedless of her own saliva. It came from her and they're going inside, who cares. ]

You're like a deer in headlights.

[ If given time to think about it, he wouldn't really consider it too close. It came out of nowhere though, and that's what gets him to freeze up.

He's said he doesn't want to be uncomfortable with Emerald before. That's the last thing he wants, because he wants Emerald to be most comfortable with her, too. It makes him disappointed in himself because of this, and he's not exactly sure what to do. He wants this stupid fear to be rid off now. It's been months since they talked about it but it's still there and he always thinks he's over it, but his body sure isn't.

I don't mean to be.

[ He heaves out a sigh. He's upset, but not with her. He wants to make that known. ]

You don't need to be sorry. I was just trying to get creative since my plan to pin you to the door so you can't get me first was dodged.

[ she can't pin him to the door while he's carrying her. she smiles. ]

[ The elevator doors have opened and he gets in, Emerald in tow. Although... ]

Can you press the sixth?

[ They can't go up!!! ]

[ She leans up to smooch his cheek, then reaches over to press the button.

When they get to the top and the door opens, she reaches over again and slides her hand down to press every button 😈 ]

[ Honestly, Akashi could put up a fuss about that but as soon as the door opens, he's antsy to get out that he only makes a passing, almost teasing comment about it. ]

That was bad.

[ But he's a little used to Emerald's pranks already!! Plus he doesn't care right now?? He sets her down once they're at his door step to fish out his key. Somehow, he's completely forgotten about Emerald's plan... ]

[ Oh good. She grins when he sets her down, waiting until the exact moment that he'll definitely drop his keys to turn him around and push him against the door, kissing him hotly and heavily for about five seconds before pulling back to say, voice dripping with intent. ]

Have I been a bad girl, Sei?

[glorifies]

[ His breath is definitely taken away when she kisses him, and the keys 100% fall to the floor. He doesn't even want to pick them up anymore, and it shows when his hand falls to her hip when they kiss... and it stays there.

As for Emerald's question, it totally doesn't come off to him as playful or anything. She looks like she's teasing, but he's never had a conversation like this before??? ]

Someone from the ground floor is bound to get impatient.

I-I know.

[ She's so caught off guard for a second by his response that it totally interrupts her flow. ]

I was going to say if I've been bad you should spank me, it's a-- it's fine, you don't have to spank me.

[ But she does kneel down in front of him now to pick up the keys. She definitely takes her time though. ]
