[ Ah... He hits the mattress with a thud, but at least neither of them are hurt. Akashi's arms have wrapped around Emerald going down, but he doesn't seem to be keen on letting her go. His eyes are closed and his heart is beating fast, but he's trying to even his breathing and is silent while doing it. ]
[ rather than waking up or properly responding, Emerald reaches off the side of the bed to pull up the blanket with one hand, then rolls over him to try to burrito wrap them both... she doesn't want to properly get up, but she's doing what he says ok........ the only sound she makes is a groan at hand to move. ]
[ ._. He does actually fall asleep eventually. Eventually being an hour later. Although he wakes up every so often bc it's warm and uncomfortable. When he gets sick of it at around midnight, he actually starts wrestling with the sheets to get himself out like a petulant child. He's very angry with the sheets once he's free and is seated on his bed by the backrest. 😡 ]
[ Once he frees himself, she doesn't try to go after him or anything. It's bedtime now. They can figure out the arcade another time.. or a movie or whatever they wanted to do. She's comfortable and sleeping better than she has in a long, long time. And so she's not waking up until he makes her get up. ]
