[ When the attendant comes by to let them out, she holds her hand up enthusiastically. ]

We're staying for another round.

[ The guy looks at the line same as Akashi did, though he does glance at Akashi as if to make sure that he's also down since he looks.. less enthusiastic. But if he doesn't object, the guy shrugs and just moves on to let out the other passengers, then let the small handful of people coming in take other seats. ]

[glorifies]

[ Akashi doesn't say anything and even looks forward rather than at the guy. When the next round starts, he closes his eyes and keeps them shut until they're back at the station. He's hoping Emerald doesn't want to go again... But he'll also tell her, because he doesn't want to upset her by keeping it in. ]

Can we get down now? I want to sit down somewhere quiet.

[unhappy]

[ With the initial excitement faded a little, she's paying a little more attention to Akashi. He's clearly drained from just the one ride... She nods and lets the guy free them this time, walking slowly to give Akashi some chance to recover. There's a cafe a short walk from them, she starts leading him that way so she can get him some water. ]

Are you okay?

[glorifies]

That sort of ride may not be for me.

[ He's walking slowly because his world is still spinning. Just a little. He'll recover soon. ]

[unhappy]

[ Oh dear. She moves close so she can wrap her arms around his arm. It's a subtle way of helping to support him without making it look like he needs support, hopefully, since she knows he wouldn't like that. HE might look weak or whatever if it looks like she's helping, but she doesn't mind looking like she's clingy. ]

Maybe no more loops for you.

[glorifies]

I wouldn't say that. I want to accompany you, so if you'd like to try something later, then I'll go.

[ Right now, he just needs a break. He'll need some time to psyche himself up for later. ]

[unhappy]

I think that was probably the one with the most loops anyway.

[ She guides him to the tables outside the cafe and quickly goes to ask for two water bottles. They are overpriced for sure, but they can refill the bottles up at fountains later she guesses. Oh well. ]

[glorifies]

[ He takes a sip of his water once he has it. ]

You looked like you enjoyed it a lot. You didn't feel scared?

[unhappy]

[ She shakes her head. ]

It's a little adrenaline rush without an actual threat of dying, it's like the fun parts of a fight without the stressful parts.

[ Whatever sensations she's getting out of this are probably different than what Akashi feels just because her body is used to a lot more aerial feats without safety buckles. ]

[glorifies]

I don't really understand, but I'm glad you had fun.

[ Hopefully they can get on more fun rides next!! ]

Where would you like to go next?

[unhappy]

We're still heading for the log ride. There's a dragon swing or bumper cars it looks like on the way.

[ She will let him pick since she picked the last one. ]

[glorifies]

I want to try the bumper cars.

[ Especially since he's never driven a car before. It's exciting! ]

[unhappy]

[ Emerald stands up, then offers her hand to pull him up after her. She assumes he's gained a second wind by now since he's talking about the next ride. ]

Don't get mad at me if I bump you.

[glorifies]

Oh. I was thinking we'd stay in the same car.

[ He wants to drive for her :( ]

[unhappy]

Are they two people cars?

[ She's only passed by the little ones at carnivals! Either way she's dragging him in that direction now. The whole thing seems to be decorated with a laser light show. ]

You better bump people then.

[glorifies]

I think so. I hope they can fit two adults.

[ Akashi is definitively an adult. ]

The objective of the ride is to bump other cars. I intend to bump as many as possible.

[unhappy]

I'll sit on your lap if the seats aren't big enough.

[ That's probably very illegal. ]

Okay, then don't give me whiplash either.

[glorifies]

I wouldn't be able to drive if you do that.

[ He seems fine with it, though? ]

I'll be careful.

[unhappy]

Can you drive anyway?

[ You don't need a license to drive a bumper car though.. They're getting let in now that there's a large enough group in the queue to actually have a good time. ]

[glorifies]

It shouldn't be difficult. You just step on the gas or the brake when you need to.

[ He's going straight for that bright red car. No one can stop him. Luckily, the cars are big enough for two people! But if Emerald really wants her own car, then she can get the one next to his. ]

[unhappy]

[ She waits until they're strapped in to reply. Of course she sits next to him. ]

I get to drive you around when I get a real car though.

[glorifies]

[ The operator waits until everyone has their seatbelts on and everybody has a car. ]

Will you follow traffic laws?

[unhappy]

I don't have a death wish. You have to be an expert driver to pull the kinds of cool stunts in movies so I'm a long way off from doing that.

[ Wait for it- ]

Thoooough if I get good enough at it, maybe I can be a stunt driver in Japan.

[ pls approve of her new idea she doesn't know how to maintain her zen. ]

[glorifies]

[ Sorry your mom doesn't like this idea...

In fact, as soon as they can all move, Akashi immediately steps on the gas and bumps the car ahead of them. Then he tries to manoeuvre the car so he can hit another one. ]

That's dangerous.

[unhappy]

I've crashed into fewer people in my life than you have...

[ As of one second ago. ]
