[ Their food gets served soon after, a small plateful of pretzel bites with cream cheese filling. It should be good! A little oily, and Akashi even wrinkles his nose when he picks up a piece and feels the oil.

Ah well. Can't have it all. Besides, it's cheat day! But since it's the first bite, he offers it to Emerald to eat. ]

She pulls herself back and chews it. It's pretty good. Definitely an odder taste than she was expecting, since the cream cheese is more tart unlike the spiciness of queso. ]

I might need to drink some more first to get the full effect, everything still tastes kind of salty. But it's not bad.
