[ She leaves it at that though since the ride is starting, and at the very least him holding her like she wanted without her asking helps her feel better. His dorky declaration makes her smile. She'll hold into the rail for the two of them then. ]

I've never heard of a smooth seatbelt, but I like it so it works for you.

[ She leans back against him as the log moves through some rapids that shake the log back and forth. Compared to the roller coaster it's tame though. ]

[ There's two slides. One's double the height of the first one, and as they pass the first, his hold on Emerald tightens. Maybe Akashi's just not meant for these kinds of rides? Who knows. He's not scared though, but it's more like he has to because he has to hold onto something...

Does Emerald get wet from all the water when they go down? Who knows, but Akashi's hair and his shirt certainly get soaked. ]

[ Emerald isn't bothers by the drops at all, and she actually rather likes how Akashi holds onto her. It lets her feel like she's the one grounding him and keeping him safe, plus chroma and warmth and trust.

And he definitely kept her back dry too, though her front is pretty sprinkled on. She lets out a laugh as the splash settles. They're headed right toward a waterfall! The second slide is on the other side of it, but they have to go through that first. There's no way not to get wet. ]

[ He's breathing heavily once they're back down and headed to the waterfall. That was suspenseful!! But he doesn't say anything about it because he doesn't want her to bring any attention to it, either. ]

This ride is going to get us sick. We'll need to change immediately after this.

We're not going to get sick! It's just water!

[ Famous last words.

Unexpectedly, the drop is immediately after the waterfall so it's impossible to see coming!! Emerald even let's out a yelp as they suddenly start sliding down an even bigger dip than the first one! ]

[glorifies]

We're— ah! [ He doesn't shout, because he only shouts during an intense basketball game (thank you, Kagami Taiga) but he does hold onto Emerald a little tighter. Too tight, in fact, and he's burying his face on the crook of her neck as they go down.

It makes for a weird photo, to be sure. ]

[ She's giggling by the end, and her eyes are closed in the picture as she smiles. It's a different kind of thrill than the loopy coaster but it's definitely fun. Her hair and clothes are clinging to her by the bottom of the second drop, and they're turning around to head back into the station. She's definitely going to want a picture. ]

You okay back there?

[ Has she seen him before with his hair not fluffy...

He lets her go now that they're back at the station and waits for her to get up and off first before he does. He wants to be dry. :( ]

I didn't even know there was another slide already. That came out of nowhere.

It was a surprise. It was fun, right?

[ Though now her.. white... Shirt is all wet. Sorry Akashi, her bra is a little visible through the fabric as she goes to retrieve their bag. ]

[ And yes, he can see that. She's going to need to change her shirt soon, but in the meantime... ]

Emerald. [ He calls her attention so he can close her jacket once she's facing him. ]

[ He practically catches her off guard with his momming but she stays still for him to do it. ]

You know I'd be wearing less in a swimsuit. Next time I'll just wear a bikini and shorts.

Don't wear those when you're not swimming.

[ Em he's going to be so worried akfjalf ]

Let's get changed before we catch a cold.

You know it's like impossible for me to get sick at this point.

[ Her immune system is exposed to everything, Akashi.. ]

[ She is really cold, and probably to the touch too if he touches somewhere other than her clothes. But she's cold-blooded right now thanks to Sanguis moon, so she doesn't really feel the difference? It just means that she could potentially freeze to death or start getting really tired and not realize it. ]

[ He pauses, unsure. He wonders if saying what he wants to say is a good move or not... in the end, he decides to go for it. ]

[ She stares at him for a moment, then looks a little embarrassed. ]

[ It's. Genuinely making her sure she can hear her heartbeat right now. Akashi is so cute when he's caring for her, she just wants to hold him. ]

I know you wanted to go to the arcade, but can we go on the ferris wheel after we change?

[ She just wants him to hold her now to be honest... This is so weird that she knows exactly what she wants and it's not something she ever would've asked for once upon a time. ]

Sure. I don't mind.

[ The arcade isn't going anywhere, anyway. And it's just the start of the day. They have a lot of time to do a lot of things.

Though he does ask for his shirt first, because he'd like to get it before Emerald leaves to enter the female rest room. ]

[ The whole time. She hands him his clothing and then goes off to change herself.

When she comes back, he'll discover that the shirt he picked for her was definitely a crop top- most of the fabric was in the sleeves, rather than where he was probably hoping it was. With the jacket now removed, it's even less fabric than before they went on the log ride, really..]

What do you mean? This is my normal size.

[ She looks down. Is her under boob hanging out or something? She starts putting her hands under her boobs to check if her bra's showing or... nope? ]

[ HE PANICS ALWJFLF he smooshes himself to Emerald to cover her. No one has to see her touch her boobs???? ]

It's so short. I was expecting a normal shirt when I picked that out.

[ She's just checking her shirt!! askjdh Well, she wanted him to hold her... She moves her hands up to his shoulders and looks him in the eyes. ]

It's a normal shirt. It's called a crop top, I bought it at a department store, it's not like I had it custom made.

[ If it wasn't normal, it wouldn't be at the store!??? ] I always dress like this.
