[ She dribbles it for a moment. It's obviously nothing substantial, but she's got a look on her face that displays a ridiculous amount of confidence-- almost smugly. ]
So if I beat you right here, that'd be pretty embarrassing.
[ Though later when she reveals it she can mess with him and make him see himself and things like that.. but for now, she knows a surefire way to inspire someone who thinks he can't be beat. Even if it's not necessarily.. within the rules.
Well, isn't it though? It's just her natural abilities. If he can't adapt to play with others on another planet, then he isn't really the best, is he? This is totally fair. ]
[ She tilts her head to crack her neck from one side to the other. ]
You're going to be the one who has to try here.
[ With him in position, she dribbles to walk around him to his right side. Aomine will see her making a dash to the left to try to get around him, however. The biggest challenge of this for her is making sure that the sounds of dribbling in reality match up with her illusion so it doesn't become obvious, but it's loud enough that it's not difficult for her to keep track of the ball. If he approaches her at all, to try to steal it, the illusion steps back and makes a shot. In reality, Emerald makes the shot unblocked from her actual position. It'll look like the shot vanished and she'll run around him to get back into the spot where her illusion is before he's any the wiser. ]
[Aomine definitely doesn't understand what happened. One moment the ball was there and the next it's already in the basket. He looks behind him to see if fall through, eyes wide in confusion.
Then he looks back at Emerald with a slightly feral grin.]
Every shot's going to go like that, if you want to quit.
[ She's definitely cheating, but it'll be good for him. He just needs a little push. And then she can refuse to play him again until he ups his game or whatever. Emerald gets the ball again from under the basket. Is she supposed to give it to him again because she made the last shot or just keep playing? Akashi and Kuroko didn't teach her one on one rules.... ]
[He holds his hand up so he can receive the ball from her. He looks forward to seeing if she has something up her non-existent sleeves for defense too.]
[ Defense is definitely going to be a little bit harder. She throws the ball to him though, trusting him that he isn't just going to fuck with her about the rules. The best solution is to use her semblance to pull off something Kuroko would do. She may not lack presence, but she can use her semblance to literally hide her image.
She's got to wait for him to pass her first though which won't be that hard, her ability to block someone running in canon involves throwing herself and missing. Thanks for forgetting everyone could fight, volume 5. She's decidedly not throwing herself for this, but she can chase after him and try to knock the ball away from behind by using her semblance to hide where she is. ]

I'm different. The only one who can beat me... is me. So if I practiced, I'd just end up leaving everyone even further behind.
