If he approaches her at all, to try to steal it, the illusion steps back and makes a shot. In reality, Emerald makes the shot unblocked from her actual position. It'll look like the shot vanished and she'll run around him to get back into the spot where her illusion is before he's any the wiser. ]
[Aomine definitely doesn't understand what happened. One moment the ball was there and the next it's already in the basket. He looks behind him to see if fall through, eyes wide in confusion.
Then he looks back at Emerald with a slightly feral grin.]

[ She's definitely cheating, but it'll be good for him. He just needs a little push. And then she can refuse to play him again until he ups his game or whatever. Emerald gets the ball again from under the basket. Is she supposed to give it to him again because she made the last shot or just keep playing? Akashi and Kuroko didn't teach her one on one rules.... ]
[He holds his hand up so he can receive the ball from her. He looks forward to seeing if she has something up her non-existent sleeves for defense too.]
[ Defense is definitely going to be a little bit harder. She throws the ball to him though, trusting him that he isn't just going to fuck with her about the rules. The best solution is to use her semblance to pull off something Kuroko would do. She may not lack presence, but she can use her semblance to literally hide her image.
She's got to wait for him to pass her first though which won't be that hard, her ability to block someone running in canon involves throwing herself and missing. Thanks for forgetting everyone could fight, volume 5. She's decidedly not throwing herself for this, but she can chase after him and try to knock the ball away from behind by using her semblance to hide where she is. ]
