A housewarming party is really just a fancy way to get people together over a meal. You celebrate the new home through a party, so that all other events under the roof will be happy ones.

Inviting a person who gets annoyed by the mere existence of happy people to a party designed to invite happiness is an interesting choice, but sure. I can show up and wear a dress and eat food.

[ What do you mean at this age?? Though Emerald's extreme distaste of relationships is probably shining through a little too much now. She feels comfortable saying it like that because she's sure whoever Akashi is with isn't that kind of person though, especially since he's saying he didn't expect to date. ]

My inside options are Mercury or people old enough to be my father and are vomit-worthy even if they weren't. There are no outside options. Any question of loyalty would end in me having to kill that person myself or both be killed if I don't.
